Christmas Lunch

Athelhampton House

The Christmas lunch at Athelhampton House proved to be an extremely enjoyable occasion from the first glass of mulled wine until the end of the afternoon.  Patrick Cooke, the owner, gave a short presentation prior to the meal, and afterwards there was the opportunity to tour the house and gardens.  Clearly the change of venue was to the liking of all those attending and this was reflected in the raffle takings.  The proceeds, £200, will be put towards a local NT educational project."
